Saint Louis Bank Robbery

Great Saint Louis Bank Robbery is a great, if very dark and gritty, heist movie that’s even based off a real crime, police officers involved in the actual crime got to reprise their roles for the screen version.

It’s about a gang made up of a varied group of people trying to set up a complicated bank robbery. Some people get in the way, some people are afraid others’ will lose their nerve. Between all of them they can’t scrape up the remaining $50 to do what they need to survive and prepare for the operation, so they then involve a sister of one of the gang members. The whole thing is pretty ill-begotten, so it’s not terribly surprising the robbery doesn’t go completely as planned.
