A Christmas Without Snow
Starting over in San Francisco with her young son, a newly divorced woman joins a church choir led by a demanding perfectionist. Rehearsals for a Christmas performance test the singers’ patience while gradually turning a mismatched group into a community.
CBS premiered the made-for-television drama on December 9, 1980.
John Korty directed a cast led by Michael Learned and Oscar-winning actor John Houseman, whose stern choirmaster anchors the ensemble story.
