The Invisible Killer

A murder is committed in a gambling joint that baffles police and investigators. When someone decides to come clean and give some info, he is also murdered in the same bizarre way. Victims of these murders are always full of bullets right after answering the phone. Could the killer somehow be harnessing a force of nature to do his killing?
