Dressed to Kill

A criminal in Dartmoor prison has deviously planted currency printing plates that belong to the Bank of England inside three music boxes, putting the innocent owners of the music boxes at extreme risk. Eventually the owners of the music boxes containing the stolen plates begin to get murdered off, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. John Watson step in to solve the case.

Many consider Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce to be the quintessential Sherlock Holmes and John Watson pair (respectively). While some have made criticisms that Nigel’s interpretation of Watson was a little more jolly and bumbling than what was written, I also picture these two as the iconic Sherlock and Watson pair and think the movies they filmed as them are some of the most enjoyable Sherlock stories put to pictures.
