The Big Show

This is a pretty good Western Comedy Adventure movie from the 30’s. This movie stars Gene Autry as Tom Ford who is a big-time movie star. During the Texas Centennial, Ford (Gene Autry) decides to skip out of his obligated appearance for some vacation time, leaving his stunt double… Gene Autry? to fill in for him. While filling in for Ford, Autry finds out Ford owes a considerable sum of money to Rico, a gangster.

Hilarity and Music ensue while Gene Autry, playing himself as Tom Ford’s stunt double, also played by Gene Autry, is forced to sing (something that Ford cannot do) and becomes a sensation.
