Phantom Of Chinatown

Dr. John Benton is murdered while giving a lecture about a recent archaeological dig where he uncovered an ancient Chinese scroll. Detective James Lee Wong (this time played by Keye Luke) is on the scene to find the killer and solve the mystery of why the scroll is worth killing over.

I think I read somewhere that this is one of the extreme few or the ONLY Eastern Detective style movie that doesn’t have a white guy doing the part of the Eastern Detective. Kind of strange.
