Santa Claus Conquers The Martians

A truly infamously terrible movie I love that will leave you asking “What were they thinking??” for years to come.
It’s about Martian children (Children on Mars) developing an obsession towards Earth TV, most particularly shows and movies about a “Santa Claus”. Scared, upset, and not knowing what to do, The Martian adults bring forth some sleeping elder, Cho-Chim, who I guess must sleep dormant outside. In a flash of smoke he appears and listens to the Martians’ problem. On Mars it’s the middle of Septober, so of course there’s nothing to account for the obsession with Earth programs. The wise weird old man of course knows exactly what’s going on, he tells everyone that because the Martians don’t have children, just adults in children bodies,  Mars needs a Santa Claus. Pure brilliance. So knowing there’s only one Santa Claus, the Martians decide to go to Earth and steal Santa Claus for their “children”. What the Martians didn’t account for was that Santa Claus and a couple Earth children would get in the way and muck up the Martians’ plan.
You know, I don’t really have a rating system on here, but if I did, I’d probably have to give this stinker something around a ¥.
