A Stranger In Town

A U.S. Supreme Court justice slips away for a quiet hunting trip and discovers that a small town is controlled by corrupt officials. Keeping his identity secret, he joins an idealistic young lawyer’s campaign to challenge the local machine.

MGM produced the political comedy from an original screenplay by Isobel Lennart and William Kozlenko rather than adapting an earlier story.

Roy Rowland directed Frank Morgan, Richard Carlson, and Jean Rogers in a compact 67-minute production.
