121 – Tuck’s Love Day - 1958

Sir Geoffrey (Basil Dignam) returns from the Crusades and finds the Sheriff has moved the stream that forms the boundary marker of his estate, so that his land know forms part of the Sheriff’s own land. The Abbot is displeased with Friar Tuck’s lack of alms collected so Tuck arbitrates the dispute on Love Day, a day in the year when ecclesiastical law takes precedence, for a fee, while Robin and Will Scarlet breach a dam.
NOTE: this episode, apart from three or so studio scenes, is shot almost entirely on location.

Excellent Shows from long ago! Only problem the shows around 63 MB only work with HP Player no sound windows player! Probably my old computer! You mention VCL player! But trying experiments! Uploaded 50 of your shows as mp4 63 MB got no change! TRYING UPLOAD YOUR 30 SHOWS AS OGV Shows seems to work so far!I have uploaded 15 so far & mp4 work for my old computer!.

    Hi! I’ve been seeing your comments. I’ve looked into it and I think I know what is going on. The smaller, 63 MB episodes are sourced from old archive.org pages and the higher quality version that work better are higher bit rate episodes I’ve sourced from elsewhere and converted for web myself. It won’t be fast, but I’ve started the process of converting all the old 63MB episodes to the new, higher quality formats. Stay tuned for updates on this, but I’ve already converted and replaced a few early episodes.
